Your subconscious beliefs directly influence your autonomic nervous system which controls muscle tension, pain perception, stress response, and how your body interprets safety.

When your subconscious believes:

My Background

I trained and performed up to 40+ hours a week for nearly 20 years through university and through my professional career as a company dancer. Looking back, I realise I rarely knew what it felt like to be truly rested. Pain, fatigue, and pushing through were simply part of the landscape.

I danced with injuries, chronic back pain, and through round the clock morning sickness with both of my pregnancies. The final chapter of my dance career came after a complete ACL rupture in my left knee. I finished the tour strapped from ankle to ribs, using biofeedback just to stay connected to my body and move safely on stage.

What followed was a full knee reconstruction and very little time or space for proper rehabilitation. I was navigating life with two small children, a recent divorce, and the practical realities of needing to keep working. Sleep was scarce, stress was high, and my nervous system was in constant overdrive.

Through this experience, I came to deeply understand what it means to rely on your body for your livelihood — whether you’re a dancer, tradie, athlete, medical professional, or anyone whose work demands that you show up physically, day after day, regardless of pain, injury, or exhaustion.

If I had known about PSYCH-K® then, my journey might have looked different, a bit easier at the least!
